Investing your super

Your super is likely to be one of your main sources of income once you wind-down from work, so it’s worth understanding how it’s invested.

Our unique active investment philosophy aims to both grow and protect your super savings — not all super funds do this. We work hard to deliver strong returns over the long term, and we are here to help you make informed decisions that align with your personal financial goals.

CareSuper Investment update December 2023
CareSuper’s Balanced option
If you joined CareSuper through your employer or you haven’t selected your investment option(s), then we’ll invest your super in our Balanced (MySuper) option. With a track record of outperformance, this option invests in a diversified mix of assets and aims to achieve relatively strong returns in the medium to long term.
Responsible investing
We integrate environment, social and governance (ESG) factors into all our investment decisions. And, we offer a dedicated Sustainable Balanced option that not only meets our ESG criteria but also has specific investments that drive positive change towards a more sustainable and inclusive world, while delivering strong long-term returns.
Invest your own way
Prefer to tailor your own portfolio? The Direct Investment option (DIO) lets eligible members choose their own investments from shares, ETFs, listed investment companies and term deposits with other CareSuper options.
