Why you’d invest

Invest in this option if you are seeking returns above the rate of inflation over the long term, but with less volatility than might be experienced by the Balanced option.

The minimum investment timeframe is 3–5 years.

Return objective

To achieve returns after tax and fees that exceed the inflation rate by at least 2.5% per year (over rolling 10-year periods).

Risk level

Medium
The chance of a negative annual return is 2.2 in every 20 years for super and transition to retirement accounts and 2.1 in every 20 years for full pension accounts.
The risk level is based on the Standard Risk Measure.
