CareSuper’s voice contracts

Did you know? You can complete some super forms over the phone

Let’s face it—no one loves paperwork. Forms can be confusing, time-consuming, and sometimes they get sent back if something’s missed or filled in incorrectly. That’s why CareSuper offers a quicker and easier way to get things done. We call it, voice contracts.

When you call our contact centre, you can complete certain forms and requests over the phone, with guidance from one of our friendly and experienced consultants. They’ll take you through a verbal agreement where we process transactions on your behalf. For example, if you want to do a partial withdrawal of your super (and you’ve reached preservation age and have retired), or change your pension payments, we can do that over the phone with you. That means no printing, scanning, posting, or waiting for documents to be processed. Even better, it reduces the chance of errors—because we’ll make sure everything’s done right then and there.

Here are just some of the things you can now do over the phone (subject to eligibility):

  • Withdraw your super (partial withdrawal)
  • Update or remove your bank account details
  • Verify your identity (Electronic ID)
  • Switch investments
  • Rollover or find and combine your super accounts
  • Add or update non-binding beneficiaries
  • Request financial hardship or compassionate grounds early access
  • Provide your Tax File Number (TFN)
  • Claim a tax deduction on personal contributions (notice of intent)
  • Submit a 'Pay your super to CareSuper' form to your employer
  • Change your income payment amounts or frequency
  •  Cancel insurance cover
  • Authorise or cancel a third-party representative
  • Apply for a parental leave premium waiver
  • And more!

Taking care of these tasks over the phone can save you time, reduce form errors, and give you peace of mind knowing everything has been completed correctly—all with the support of our friendly team.

Just keep in mind: some transactions depend on your eligibility, which may include factors like your age, employment status, or the rules around accessing your super. But don’t worry—we’ll talk you through what’s possible and help you take the next steps.

So next time you need to make a change, give us a call on 1800 005 166 (8am–7pm AEST/AEDT, weekdays) or, if you want to know whether we can complete any of the requests over the phone you can use the chat bubble on the bottom right-hand side of the screen on our website. We’re here to help make your super easier to manage—no paperwork required.
