5 Apples is the highest rating given by Chant West and defines CareSuper as a 'highest quality fund.' It refers to CareSuper's overall ability to construct quality investment portfolios for its members. We received this rating for both our Super and Pension products.2
Rainmaker ESG leader quality rating 2024
Awarded to CareSuper for a fourth consecutive year as a super fund leader for environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and our associated track record of strong investment performance over the long term.3
Rainmaker AAA Quality rating 2024
Rainmaker rates us AAA for our Personal Plan and our Pension product as well as our organisational strength across investments, insurance, fees and service including communications and engagement.3
Responsible Super Fund Leader 2023
CareSuper is recognised as a Responsible Super Fund Leader 2023 by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA). This acknowledges our commitment to good governance and accountability, implementation and measurement of responsible investment approaches through activities like engagement and voting and ESG integration, proper measurement of outcomes, and our high degree of transparency.
Lonsec recommended rating
Investment research company Lonsec’s ‘Recommended’ rating recognises their strong conviction that our financial products generate risk adjusted returns in line with our relevant objectives.4

5 CareSuper (Trustee for CareSuper ABN 98 172 275 725) was awarded Heron’s 2025 5 Quality Star Rating for its superannuation product offering to 1 November 2024, prior to the merger of Spirit Super and CareSuper. The 5 Quality Star Rated Personal and Employee Plan is no longer available to members of the same-named entity (CareSuper ABN 74 559 365 913) as a result of the merger. The Personal Plan and Employee Plan products were consolidated into one superannuation product offering for existing and new members of CareSuper from 1 November 2024.
