EOFY super contribution cut-off dates 2025-26

The end of the financial year can be a great time to add a little extra to your super and potentially boost your tax savings. Even small contributions can make a big difference over time.

Important deadlines

To make sure your personal contributions are counted in the 2025-26 financial year, we must receive them by Tuesday 30 June 2026.

We can accept personal contributions via BPAY or cheque.

Paying by BPAY

To have your contribution counted for the 2025-26 financial year, we must receive your BPAY payment no later than Tuesday 30 June 2026.

Please check your bank's BPAY processing times and allow enough time for the payment to reach us by this date.

What you'll need

You'll need your personal BPAY details, which you can find:

  • in Member Online, under Contributions > Make contributions, or
  • by calling us on 1800 005 166

It may take up to a week for your bank to process your BPAY payment and for the contribution to appear in your CareSuper account. You can track it in Member Online under Transactions.

Paying by cheque

If you're paying by cheque, we must receive it by 12pm (AEST) on Tuesday 30 June 2026 for it to count towards the 2025-26 financial year.

Please make sure:

Send your cheque to:

CareSuper
GPO Box 1547
Hobart TAS 7001

Consider the contribution limits

There are limits on how much you can contribute to super each financial year without paying extra tax. If you exceed these limits, additional tax may apply.

You can check how much you've contributed by logging in to your myGov account:

  1. Go to the ATO section
  2. Select Super, then Information
  3. Review your contributions for the year

For more information, see Contribution limits.

What happens if I miss the cut off date?

Any contributions we receive after 30 June 2026 will be processed in the next financial year. This may have tax implications, particularly if you exceed your contribution caps for that year.

See Contributions limits for more details.
