Background
Wayne is an Employer-Representative Director nominated by the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd (TCCI). Wayne was the CEO of Tasplan Super prior to its merger with MTAA Super in April 2021 to become Spirit Super which then merged to become CareSuper in November 2024. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Quadrant Super for 18 years prior to its merger with Tasplan Super. He is a director and former Board Chairman of TCCI and a Director of GDA Securities Ltd.
Wayne has extensive experience in formulating and implementing proven business strategies and driving high performance in a regulated and dynamic environment including in superannuation, financial advice and investment. He has a track record of leading change through multiple mergers and acquisitions.
