The reporting entity is CareSuper ABN 74 559 368 913 (CareSuper), known as Spirit Super pre-1 November 2024.  CareSuper is a public offer superannuation fund which was established by a trust deed dated 31 May 1989. It is registered by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) as a registrable superannuation entity. On 1 November 2024 Spirit Super merged with CareSuper (ABN 98 172 275 725) and adopted the CareSuper branding. All references in this Statement to CareSuper refer to the current reporting entity (formerly Spirit Super) unless otherwise indicated. While the merger has taken effect as at the date of publication of this Statement, the reporting period for this Statement is the 2023-2024 financial year, and therefore this Statement relates solely to Spirit Super (as it was pre-merge). Where relevant, information about the merged entity is provided for additional context.
