Why should I combine my super?
Having additional accounts can make your super difficult to keep track of. Over time, paying fees and costs to numerous super funds may erode your super balance.
The chart below outlines the difference having multiple funds could make to your account balance over just five years.

Please note, if you do not include your Tax File Number on the Transfer your super form(s), you must also send us a certified copy of your proof of identity documents. See who can certify your ID here.
Be sure to supply a separate Transfer your super form and certified ID (if applicable) for each fund you wish to transfer out of.
Before combining your super into CareSuper you should consider whether this is right for you and check if you will be charged any exit or other fees. You should also check the impact on any insurance arrangements (such as loss of insurance) or other benefits you may have in your other super fund.
Some important numbers
To transfer into CareSuper you’ll need your CareSuper member number as well as our Superannuation Product Identification Number (SPIN) and Unique Superannuation Identifier (USI). CareSuper’s SPIN and USI is CAR0100AU.
What about lost super?
Many Australians have lost or ‘unclaimed’ super that that they do not realise is theirs. By searching for your lost super you can reclaim it and add it to your super savings. You can search for your lost super here. All you need is your tax file number, name and date of birth.
