New employer-sponsored members joining after 1 July 2006 automatically receive Default cover - two units of Death and Total & Permanent Disablement (TPD) cover. If this cover doesn't suit your circumstances, automatic acceptance can extend to four other 'Package Choices'.
Options that do not require health evidence* are:
- Default cover - 2 units of Death and TPD cover
- Package Choices:
- OPTION 1 - Death and TPD (2 units) plus Income Protection
- OPTION 2 - Death only (4 units), plus Income Protection
- OPTION 3 - Death only (4 units)
Each unit of Death and TPD cover costs $1.50 per week. Death only cover costs $0.75 per week. The benefit amount decreases with age (see the scales download at right). For information on Income Protection cover, click here.
