A significant benefit of being a member of CareSuper is that you can access affordable insurance cover at very reasonable rates. So you and your dependants are protected if you are injured, become ill or die.

And you're not restricted to the same cover as everyone else. New members in the Industry plan* automatically receive Default cover - two units of Death and Total & Permanent Disablement (TPD) cover. But if that isn't exactly what you need, you can choose between:

Three occupational categories - General, Office and Professional - means that there is cover to suit everyone. For more information about these categories please see the CareSuper Member PDS.

You may be eligible to transfer the insurance you have with your current super fund - check the Insurance Guide for details and forms which can be downloaded on our Forms and publications page by clicking here.

If you are joining CareSuper via Choice of Fund and have been employed by your current employer for more than 120 days, your cover will be limited for the first 12 months.

*Personal Plan members must apply for insurance cover using the form at the back of the Personal Plan Member Guide (PDS).
