CareSuper receives 5 Year Platinum Performance Award by SuperRatings

16 Nov 2009

CareSuper was awarded a SuperRatings 5 Year Platinum Performance Award and described as a ‘best value for money’ Fund in the latest Fundamentals report issued by SuperRatings.

In the report, CareSuper is described by SuperRatings as ‘well balanced across all key assessment criteria’ with ‘a robust, secure and proven risk framework.’ Our investment menu is described as ‘simple yet offers members a good range of 13 investment options.’ When summarising our performance, the report states that ‘investment earnings have historically been strong over the short and long-term, comparing very well against the SuperRatings Indices across all options. Notably, CareSuper’s Balanced option generated the best performance of a Balanced option over ten years to 30 June 2009.’ And when it comes to fees, the SuperRatings Fundamentals also views us favourably. ‘Fees associated with this product are competitive, providing excellent value for money. Ongoing costs are low, with an Investment Management Fee, Administration Fee (which is capped at $500 p.a.) and a Member Fee payable.’

The SuperRatings Fundamentals reports are issued to super funds annually, and summarise the key findings after analysing and evaluating each super fund. For more information about SuperRatings, or to find out how you can access the Fundamental’s report on CareSuper, visit www.superratings.com.au
